On a previous webinar, my coach, Alex Jeffreys gave us a task to do which is to drive traffic to our blog and explain to our guests how the hell we are planning on doing it. Geez! I thought, you ain’t making it easy for us this Christmas are you Alex!
So I put my thinking cap on and tried to come up with ways to draw a crowd to my blog just like Pied the Piper did, but without the pipe. So, since I’m kind of new to this whole marketing thing I thought of writing to Uncle Santa and ask him for some gentlemanly blogging advice rather then ask for another pair of BHS socks for Xmas.
And Lo and behold I got a call from the Geeza himself, Mr S!
Boy oh boy was I excited when he told me that he has a great way of helping me out.
He went on to say that since 2008 was such an awful year for most of us out there, he suggested I make a big announcement and get people to come to my blog and tell me how they’re going to improve their lives for 2009. In other words, what’s their new years resolution going to be.
Now, I know we get to hear this sort of thing year in year out and some of us are quite frankly fed up with it and rarely make our resolutions stick. And because i don’t want you to make half hearted commitments I’m going to make this interesting and exciting for you.
Uncle Santa says that for those who write a comment on my blog saying what their new years resolution is going to be, he will hold you to your WORD! that’s right, Santa and myself included will make sure that YOU KEEP YOUR WORD! for the new year.
Ho Ho Ho! We will personally nag you on a constant basis and be keeping an eye on you to make sure that you are standing by your WORD for 2009 and make your resolution come true… or else.
So go to the It’s Santa Time post and write down what you want to achieve, improve, change, make happen for you in 2009. And don’t forget to subscribe to my newsletter so that we can nag you on a constant basis to make sure that you’re keepin your…WORD!

Just wanted to say hello and see how you’re doing with traffic generation
and to tell you how the things working out for me.
I would really like to hear everybody’s story regarding traffic.
I will give you my insights to what is working for me.
I went on squidoo and created my first lens which was actually fun.
I noticed that within first 20 minutes after I saved my page there was 6 views already.
I could not believe it.
I also created twitter account and made connection from Squidoo to twitter.
I still need to check how twitter works.
Also I wanted to mention another site that I have not heard anybody mentioned so far.
It is called

It is social bookmarking site to increase the traffic to your site.
I am creating my account there now and will make a post about it with more info.
I know some people that praise this site very highly.
I really hate to come on here asking people to come on my blog
but sometimes that is the only way to get your ideas through.
I have created testimonial site and would like everyones participation
and believe that this kind of site would help us in the future
when our relationship with Alex expands.

First, i must say im very proud of you my big brother and that i think it’s a great idea.
I personally have quite alot of new year resolutions:(To quit smoking isn’t one of them though)!
Ill have to write them all down and let you know…..
But I was wondering: Can Santa do anything regarding the economic situation in the world,cause it’s affecting the diamond industry so bad!!!(And if your fixing that, try to make peace in this mess of a country,a.k.a the “Holly Land”)
