Hi guys,elephant

In a previous post titled ‘you’re only good as your next post’ I talked about outsourcing your article writing to somebody else if you feel that you don’t have the talent or the patience to write yourself. But in this post I would like to convince you otherwise.

Some of you including myself tend to find that writing articles is a nuisance, particularly when you need to write for your blog on a constant basis.
We see some of the pro bloggers writing articles constantly and it almost seems as if they write it with ease and confidence. Damn them! - we think.
Why can’t we do the same?

How are we to come up with topics that haven’t been broached, ideas that haven’t been written about and how the hell can we write as well as the pros do?
Easy, just sit in front of the computer screen and stare at it constantly until you start sweating blood out of your eye balls. Or, alternatively, write like a maniac! Yes, if you haven’t read the E-book yet then I suggest you stop what you’re doing now and spend the next 15 minutes reading it if you’re serious about taking your article writing that notch higher and keeping your blog alive with good valued content.

We all know that to run a successful blog you need to bring in traffic, and to bring in traffic you need to publish good content and good content comes with writing good… articles. And writing good articles can be time consuming, annoying and a bloody daunting experience. But, there is a solution.

Writing like a maniac can take your writing to the next level. It will make writing fun and enjoyable for you and you’re writing will become passionate and enthusiastic instead of dull and boring.

Read the E-book (Doesn’t take that long) and pick up some gems of advice which I have taken on board myself. Including writing in spurts, writing fast, getting in the zone, finding your inner voice and conquering your fear and self doubts.

Now, I know that some of us are thinking why the hell write anyway when no one bothers reading our articles anyway.
Guess what?
Some will read them and some won’t. And not everyone who will read what you’ve written is going to like it either. It’s impossible. Heck, you’ll be lucky if 50% of the people out there like it. The minute you try to please everyone, you’ll start to please no one.
Remember that there are thousands of bloggers out there vying for the publics attention so its literally impossible to please everyone, so theres no point kicking yourself over it.

Just remember that there will be some who are more talented then you are and who have had years of experience writing on their blogs. But that’s not to say that you don’t have your own distinct and unique voice and that with time and practice you will become better at it and gradually build an audience of readers who will enjoy reading your articles. Just write from the heart, be yourself and the rest will follow.

Now, what do you write about? I personally find that ideas come to me when I least expect them to. I tend to keep my notepad open on my PC so when something jumps at me or grabs my attention for a blog or a vlog idea I write it down immediately so I don’t forget about it later.
I do the same when I go out, I suggest you carry a note pad and pen with you when you’re out and about or better still use a dicatphone like I do and record your thoughts and ideas when they molest your mind throughout the day.

So, now that you’ve got a handful of ideas and topics to write about and you’ve read the E-book then its time to get cracking and write your article(s).
And once you’ve written your article(s), congratulate yourself, that’s right, pat yourself on the back or treat yourself to a manicure if you’re lady. Men, just go out and buy a case of brew and drink yourselves silly ;-)

But that’s not where it ends. Now you want to attract an audience to your blog and that’s what I’ll be sharing with you on my next post.che-guyvara-small7

So, stay tuned my compadres and in the meantime… go article busting!

regards

Che Guy
