Hi guys,
It’s the first day of 2009 and I’m sure there are hang overs aplenty.
Not to be a nuisance but I do like to repeat myself over and over just to get the message across:
have you made your plan yet for 2009???
Okay okay, you want to recover from last nights mayhem and debauchery first. That’s alright, so allow me to share with you my 90 day game plan for 2009, and perhaps you could pick up a few ideas along the way.
But first, I actually came to write this post because of Garry Parkes post on his blog so fair dues to him. Garry says that if you are truely and honestly serious about achieving success in 2009 then you should be motivated and determind enough to put your goals on the net for all to see. That’s right my compadres, Garry went on to say that goals become more tangible if they are in the real world rather then just a thought. They make you accountable to the world. Like I mentioned to you before on a previous post, if you want Santa to hold you to your word then just let me know ![]()
So before I talk about my 90 day plan here are some suggestions on how to make your plan shine for 2009:
1. small chunks - take your larger goals and break them into smaller, more manageable pieces.
2. have a plan of action - write down and strategize how you will achieve your small chunky goals.
3. Become accountable - the more you tell people and announce it to the masses the better it will be for you.
4. Don’t be shy - if you’re stuck and not sure how to make them happen then ask for help.
5. reward yourself - when you’ve achieved something of noteworthy then pat yourself on the back, or dance the funky chicken :-)
Okay, here is my 90 day plan:
To have 750 subscribers on my blog
To create a video or a podcast once a week
To post an article 2-3 times a week
To spend 1 hour every day commenting on others blogs
To outsource all the techie stuff I’m not good at
To be active on forums
To have 750 followers on Twitter
To write my first E-book (not sure about what yet :-O)
and the most important goal of all…
To have great frolicsome fun while bloggin’ away!
So, heres to blogging for the New Year!

Hey Guy
Thanks for recently dropping by my blog and leaving such a supportive message. Now that is definately a plan that would make anyone envy including myself hehe.
It’s fantastic and it certainly fulfils the issue of Alex saying that we should make ourselves accountable for what we want to do and achieve. I certainly wish you the best of luck with it and I know you will certainly acheive it.
Now, that film we were talking about, some critics have been saying it’s not a very good film, but I would say if you like seeing light hearted humourous Jim Carey films then it’s quite good, plus there something in that film that reminds me of us joining a coachinG program hehe - if you see it - you will know why and yep for those who like to hear a bit of Zooey Deschanel singing and music playing - well there some of that too - barring some very weird lyrics lol.
Anyway , going off the point now, but I’m definately not a film buff unlike you probably although I wish I was, I guess I would be if I haven’t had to chiseling my way through education and unfortuantely no I haven’t yet seen “The day the earth stood still” - sounds like a nightmare to me
All the best and I look forward to seeing your great achievements
Nigel
Hi Guy
That list you have of your goals for 2009 is awesome and inspiring. I appreciate the way you have not only stated your goals but the tasks you will put in to achieve them. Breaking big goals into smaller chunks is particularly helpful as sometimes I do feel like I am climbing a mountain. Yet if I really think about it, even mountaineers have camps at various stages so they too reach can the top by taking manageable steps.
Thanks
Steve
Hey brother !!
SWEET !!
Its good to see this my man, not enough people seem to be laying down goals. You gotta have em right ?!

I am working on my goals as I go over 2008’s goals and achievements. I have learned so much by switching to Alex Jeffrey’s coaching. Now to keep it moving forward!
Way to add fun into the mix of goals. None of it’s worth it if we aren’t having some fun as well.
Would be happy to help you on your goal of 750 twitter followers. You can follow me at http://twitter.com/clintherman
Hi Jeffrey,
And a happy new year to you too my friend. yes, you have been twitted by me and I shall keep an eye out to make sure you keep your promise and get your goals ready for 2009
hey Nigel the Yipster,
I’m glad you brought up your concerns regarding the coaching with Alex and it’s good that everyone out there is chipping in with their views and opinions and showing some encouragement and support. I guess that’s what bloggings all about, giving your views, raising issues, getting feedback and sharing information with the rest of us on the blogosphere.
So keep lets keep our heads up and yes, Zoey Dechannel does look sexy in the film even if her singing is not up to scratch
hey Steve,
Thanks for your words regarding my goals and I’m glad they sound inspiring. I like your analogy of mountaineers and goals and couldn’t agree with you more about taking small steps to reach the peak of our success. I’m sure if we stick with it we will all reap the benefits of the AJ phenomenon.
Yo Dean-ster!
Thanks for your comment regarding my goals but it looks like your goals for January are way better focused then my ones which are 3 months lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng. I might have to trim them down like you have
Hey Clint (blogswood),
