Hi guys,

As most of you already know one of our challenges, over the Xmas period, was to drive as much traffic as possible to our blog and the one who drove the most would receive $1000 dollars from AJ himself.

The way to prove this is via google analytics (if you haven’t set it up on your blog yet then read Dean Hollands E-book where it talks about getting the code up onto your blogs settings).  We have to capture the image on the google analytics screen (you can download the free trial software from the guys at Techsmith) and send it as proof to AJ or place it on our blog for all to see so that everyone can have a good laugh at your own expense ;-)

So, get ready to laugh at this compadres because back in the beginning of december when I first set up google analytics onto my blog I have failed to realise one thing, that each time you change the theme to your blog then the code to your google analytics disappears with it and you have to re-apply the code again to the new theme. Aaaaaaaaaarghhh!

So the fool guy didn’t realise this and as a consequence lost a way of tracking my blogs visits and robbed of 3 weeks of stats. Yiykes!!!

Well, if there’s anyone out there who knows of a way to track the traffic which was lost due to theme hopping then I’d be more then happy to hear from you but on the brighter side I’m proud to say that so far I’ve had 66 visitors to my blog (okay, you can have your laugh now) but hey, you just need to add another 6 in there and I become the blogs beast }:-) he he he!

So, learn from my mistake compadres and if you do go theme hopping then be on the look out for the google analytics thief.

regards

Che Guy
